I happened to stumble upon this quote at the perfect time. Since we are nearing the end of the quarter (and the end of this class), it only seems fitting to reflect on the writer that I was yesterday. This class has allowed me to transition not only my writing skills, but my knowledge of writing. By reading different theories on the many ideas and perspectives of writing, I've come to many new conclusions myself about writing. I've realized how important it is in our everyday lives and how under-appreciated it is. I'm really excited that I've been able to switch my mentality on writing throughout these last couple of weeks. Yes, I am a better writer, but I'm also a more knowledgeable writer. I'm quite content when I compare myself to the writer I was yesterday. I can see improvement everyday and hopefully that will only continue even though this class is nearing its end.
